Paranormal TidBits Regarding My Private Investigations

"Wolves On The Prowl" stemming from "The Wolf is on the prowl again" as said by friends, referring to me, whenever I was off to a paranormal investigation. I still "prowl" solo ...but when teaming up, there are organized rules I have set to keep my friends safe and to make sure an investigation has a more productive outcome.
|
I do not accept money for paranormal investigations. I show up merely as a friend and fellow-paranormal researcher and am honored to be called to meet new people and places when my time permits, ALWAYS free of charge. I seem to drift towards the more private situations, where I am more comfortable as well.

Confidentiality Most of our investigations cater to those who want nothing to do with having their information unleashed into public eye or social grapevine. This is respected! This is my utmost priority, to make certain team members can entirely respect our clients wishes. As Phil so bluntly put it, "No blabber-mouths allowed. If you can't keep your mouth shut, there will be no prowling with Wolves!" LOL Thanks Phil ........ I could not have put it better.
If a team member proves to be untrustworthy, they are promptly dismissed from the group. You will read more of this as you continue with this page.

PHOTO: It has been brought to my attention that something interesting is causing a stir amongst you regarding the pics taken at a graveyard outing. I was told that in every picture in some of photos shared online, everyone looks normal ... except me. I find that amusing. It is said that in every pic that I am in, my body and all that is close to me on my side of the photo appears to be leaning to the left, but everyone else in the snapshots are fine. I want to see one of these photos, you don't have to send them all, just one is fine. ( I am skeptical ) Send one and I shall post it.
RE: PHOTO ...it is now posted here.
I have been involved in paranormal research longer than many of you have been alive.

Our Latest, most incredible EVP Many of you are asking when/if I can get that thing online to share. I wish I could. I guard that EVP with my life. When you first reviewed the evidence and brought it to my attention, I thought you were pulling my leg. In all my many, many years of ghost hunting, I have never recorded such a clear and chilling EVP anywhere. It is unfortunate that it was on my little hand-held Radio Shack cassette recorder rather than one of the digital audio recorders, but I do not know of a way nor have the ability to make a quality copy of it and get it on the net. Shit. And I will not entrust this to just anyone. I have, indeed, sent off emails to a few people to request info, advice and/or assistance with this, (names withheld, for all my email contacts are kept strictly confidential) .....but no one has responded. Sooo ...in the meantime, it still sits on the shelf here to my right, under lock and key.

Regarding our last adventure: Why the frig did old man Winter have to snow and blow on us while we were at the last site, eh? ...then quit after we returned home.....grrr......that is our luck ... but great job everyone.
One thing however ... remember to calm the chatter when others are trying to catch EVP's. I realize we had a couple of newbies with us last time. Also, politely remind your friends, as I already have, that as a group we stick together ... no one wanders off alone! .... we can pair up, or venture off in threes, and agree to re-group at our check point at a certain time .... and cell phones are turned off. I give three chances on that cell phone issue, after that you wait by the cars or stay the Hell home. Luckilly, we haven't had a problem with that as of late ;)
As you know, when dealing with an unfriendly or difficult 'client' I am not always the right person to handle things with a level head or reserved articulation ...... I will always discuss privately with the group who might be better in those given situations........ as of late, I refer to the chosen one as "My Grant Person" .......... we all know I am too big of a hot head to deal with assholes, so I need to keep my trap shut and round up the pack while my Grant Person speaks to the client. Thankfully, this problem does not arise often. Quite seldom, in fact, but not everyone likes to hear their place is likely not haunted, or at least not on the night we were there. If a pot falls from a kitchen cabinet and a client thinks it is a spook, there may not be an effective way to tell her that she had things stacked poorly on a broken shelf.....
.....you know what I mean.
..... and YES!!... in Spring, I wish to return to Resurrection Cemetery in another search of Resurrection Mary.

Remember, when on an investigation with me, you must always respect the privacy and property of those who call us to do an investigation. You all have been fantastic with this. Thank You. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance when I am called on a private investigation. Anyone who cannot be trusted with the confidentiality aspect will not participate in that investigation. People trust me ... and I will not tarnish that trust by bringing along those who cannot be trusted. There are 'clients' who do request my solo presence, and that is always honored.
Also remember, however, that "guests" cannot be invited along on certain investigations without approval.
With my permission, you may use my equipment BUT ...you break it ... you lose it ... you BUY it.
This includes the flashlights.
To help keep track of things I recommend a check list. Check your list before we take off for our destination and check your list again before we leave. You are responsible for your own equipment. ........and for goodness sake "Clever Trevor" make sure you have a full tank of gas in your vehicle before we set out to remote locations lol.
***Everyone has their own methods they like to use when on an investigation and that is great...and there is always time, personal space and respect between all members regarding these methods.
Prepare for yucky, dirty, cobwebby, uncertain places: ....... Well, you know I am usually the one who will go places no one else wishes to go. But if you volunteer to enter certain crawl spaces under old houses and such, remember this...
FIRST, I show you how to consider safety issues. We access the situations by taking a few minutes to inspect how sturdy the structure is. We look at overall position of the building and it's foundation. I teach you to look for safety barriers in a target area such as solid beams, concrete or rock supports to stick close to in case there is a collapse .... air routes and such.....and before you belly-slither into a dark place under buildings around here, remember my warning of skunks, snakes and badgers ... and other critters you do not want to surprise.
Remember to scan carefully with your flashlights, or the flashlight/mirror method I taught you, BEFORE you stick your head into an uncertain places! Also be aware of certain spiders and how to recognize them, we do have the brown recluse in many areas around here. Know your environment, I will help you. Wear clothes that appropriately cover your body, your socks pulled up over your pants, wear heavy shoes or boots, shirts with high collars and caps or cap and hood pulled up is great, and gloves if you wish ......and spray yourself with protective chemicals if you wish. Just because I do not spray chemicals on myself does not mean you shouldn't.
Use some logic before jumping into any situation. Learn to prowl cautiously like......well......a wolf. Also be aware of smells.....learn to tune into the scent of molds, gasses and such. Wear a mask when needed.
As we all know, many of our prowls require us to trek on foot through forest to reach certain destinations.. and having some skills in dealing with nature is helpful. I don't mind people huddling close to me when we're on our walk in case you are afraid of wolves (imagine that) or bear, but don't be clinging to my arms or getting in my way. You know I can protect each and every one of you and am always equipped to do so. If you feel safer carrying your own item/s for defense, that is fine, but know what the hell you're doing with it and how to use it. Chances are, you'll never need it anyway, but it is always good to be prepared. There have been incidents and confrontations with our wild friends and foe and if you don't know how to deal with it then stay behind me. But let me assure you, the forest is a BEAUTIFUL place, especially in the dark hours of night! I hope you learn to enjoy it as I do and feel at one with all that is around you.
If trekking through the forest at night, instead of allowing your lack of sight to overtake you, learn to tune in to your other senses. Take a moment to stand still, breath slowly and deep, relax .... yes you can .... then fine tune your ears .....listen.......you might hear nothing, or, you might hear much fluttering and scampering sounds. Little critters, both feathered and furred, in leaves can make a great deal of racket. They're just little guys, certainly more afraid of you.
If you see bobbing eyes in the distance, watch them for a moment. If they rise high and gracefully lower close to the ground and back up again, it's likely a deer. You might also hear light cracking noises as they step along their path. Usually, if you run into a deer in the dark, they stand still and check you out for a bit but nine times out of ten they are harmless.....unless the bucks are "ruttin" as we say around here. If they are tracking females for mating, be careful of those bucks, they might be unpredictable. In the slim chance they would approach you aggressively, watch out for their horns and their front legs. They don't kick like horses as some would think, they have the ability to knock you down and beat the shit out of you with their front legs. ........hows that for comforting you.......let's continue.....
... if you hear heavy steps in the forest, again, STOP, be silent, sharpen your other senses, listen. If you hear those heavy steps, brush cracking, heavy pants or throaty grunts and see a rather clumsy, less graceful set of eyes ... and smell something rather stinky.... do NOT run! You are likely in the presence of a bear. Stand still and control the fear. Chances are the bear will check you out to see if you are a threat, then keep moving. Please trust me on these issues, as you know, I have had a lifetime of experiences with such things, growing up in this environment. If by some slim chance a bear sets charge to you, again DO NOT RUN! Drop to the ground and curl into a ball, fetal position, protecting your face. Even in this unlikely situation, it is not often they would maul you to death, you might be pawed around a bit and heavily sniffed, the bear might take a few bites, but remain in a ball to the best of your ability and the bear will likely leave you nested in the forest floor. NEVER do what I have done in a few situations where I have charged a bear, yelling and screaming to protect my animals. I have absolutely no fear of such things, only vicious protective aggression. As you are aware, the bear ran off each time, but that is not the thing to do. Do as I say, never do as I do.
If you see many sets of eyes that stay low. never rising above your hip level, and are beginning to surround you....you have quite another potential problem. A run-in with timber wolves is a whole other bag of beans I will touch on at a later date. But for those of you who insist your knowledge of common domesticated dogs will help you understand wild timber wolves .... you are sorely mistaken. But again, that threat is low risk. Wolves are far more complex creatures who are masters of their environment. They are light in step and extremely cautious ....but they are also well organized as a pack. Not unlike how I teach you to be.
Take some tips from this old woman, they will help keep you safe. Your safety is my priority when you are with me.
Returning for a moment to the reaction of running and charging ........ if we hear a questionable sound on a haunted prowl or see a door open on it's own in front of us, don't run the opposite way, eh? Use the same techniques of ordering your other senses to take charge. There have been times I decided to run towards possible paranormal activity, in attempt to catch whatever might be manipulating that door or sound, etc. I want to catch a hoaxer if there would be one, (and if caught by me, an unpleasant confrontation would unfold), or catch up with more unexplained activity . Again, this Witchy hypocrite tells you never to run....yet...there I go.
STASH--just in case: Always bring extra batteries, blanket, first aid kit (I have one if you don't) bring bottled water and nutricious snacks, your medications so you do not miss important dosage if you're running late or stranded, matches and/or lighter, knife, and any other "just-in-case" misc items you can think of. It is always good to be prepared for the unexpected around here. Personally, from past experiences, I have learned to also keep a tow-chain and rope in my trunk. Obviously, some of these items may not be necessary for some of you, depending on where you're at and where you're off to, but around here ...we think of such things.
You're a good team ... major kudos to each of you.
You ask, is there anything I wouldn't do for the sake of paranormal investigation? There is only one thing I can think of at the moment, and that would be ....... exploring a well. I refer to an episode of GHI when Brian Harnois allowed himself to be lowered deep into a well, I believe it was in Romania, correct me if I'm wrong.......there is NO WAY in Hell this Witch would endure being lowered into a well like that. It gives me a fright just thinking about it. Anyone like Brian who can do such a thing has some serious balls. I would rather charge a bear again, thank you.
I'll toss more into this page as time permits.
Much love and wolfen howls to you my sweets!
~Your Rabid Wolf Witch

THEE most haunted house in my area. Secret locale. Owner does not want publicity.
There is no haunted house that can match this one.

This house is in sad disrepair.
Experiences by generations over the years.
Broad range, full spectrum reports ... everything from MANY full apparitions, passers-by see ghostly faces in windows, faces in windows caught on film, voices heard by ear and on tape, abundant cases of physical manipulation of objects, physical touches, shadows, cold spots, hovering dark masses and echoes and loud screeches of pigs being slaughtered.
(note: meat hooks still hang, strangely enough in one of the UPPER rooms, where animals were slaughtered and meat was kept over winter.....normally, there were smoke houses and slaughter barns for such things but this home is exceptional in every way.
Mrs. H now deceased.
Mr. H. unwilling to draw public attention, though this place is notorious for it's paranormal events and documented ghostly, quite chilling history and current, consistent presence in the intense paranormal realms.
I have vowed, since my early teens, to never publicize his name or the locale of his place
... and to this day, I keep my promise.
However, if I can ever convince Mr. H. to allow TAPS to visit this place, I have no doubt they would absolutely keep his name and locale under a lid as well.
It is very sad for me, having grown up next to this house, and having been in it so many times over the years, so very, very sad to see it slowly crumble away.
Last, but certainly not least, yes....there are nearly always orbs in the photos .... but that goes in the bottom of the mystery file. They do present themselves both only on film AND by eye at times. They do seem to be independent, multidimensional spheres of energy. Only a few have actually responded to human communication and direction.....which only adds to the mysteries.
Orbs are abundant, everywhere, and I personally keep them in the bottom of my barrel of paranormal data......but I never toss them out.
There is no one alive on this earth who can claim, for certain, nor prove --what they are.
