Here are a few tid-bits from the last KISS concert I attended
which was at the Tweeter Center in Chicago. As always, our KISS Gods put on a fantastic show.
I swear, Paul Stanley has as much, if not more, energy than he ever has.
And both Gene and Paul are looking Hotter Than Hell!

Well, here I am getting my face painted in the private basement of someone who is truly the biggest KISS fan I have ever come in contact with. I was surrounded by the largest KISS collection one could ever imagine and of course, guess what music was playing in the background as we readied ourselves for the big night. I was planning on painting up as the Star Child but was told I have "more of a Gene face" to work with. |

It was interesting, on our way to the Tweeter, this vehicle appeared to my right in the next lane.
I slowed down at one point to allow the vehicle to get ahead of me so I could take a pic while I mentioned
to a friend, "Wouldn't that be something if the guys (meaning KISS of course) would be behind those tinted
windows? ...that would be funny, we could say we drove to the concert, side by side with KISS."
Well, wouldn't you know it ... this SUV Limo, or whatever the heck you call it, drove neck and neck with
me all the way to the Tweeter Center but we never did get to see who was privately escorted inside.
... ... ...Upon arrival at the Tweeter, about an hour early, the lot was already full, of course, and the sky continued to tease us with light rain.
There were two long lines of fans waiting to enter at a security checkpoint.
Men to your left ...ladies to your right.
Everyone was patted down, respectfully and kindly, before allowed to enter the Center.
Now, there were no cameras allowed beyond the checkpoint ... but ...
...well...
Photos can never do justice to the experience of actually being there.
My seat was two rows from the stage. By the end of the night, my neck was sore, my ears were ringing,
my eyes were filled with smoke, my hair was full of confetti, someone had spilled beer on my boots,
I seemed to have a strange contact high from a seperate source of smoke that snaked its way across
the crowd and my throat was raw from screaming like a teenage girl.
WHAT A SHOW!
...and since I hate beer, I was more than content to mingle the entire night with my can of Pepsi.

I met many interesting people ... of all ages I might add ... others with the face makeup and
quite a few in full KISS garb from head to toe. It was fun.
Everyone should experience a KISS concert at least once in their life.
I was closest to the Demon so I have more pics of him than any other.
It was not easy to get good pics with all the smoke, confetti, explosions and lights ...
... not to mention these guys were bouncing around the stage so much it was difficult to keep up with them
and since I ended up floating around the crowd, there were usually too many
bobbing heads and waving hands in the way to snap a good pic.
It was a great time.
Hours of LOUD driving, adrenaline pumping rock music and fantastic visual effects.
I will never forget it.
I have my own special nickname for KISS ....
Knights In Sacred Service
Yeah, KISS for me, is almost a spiritual entity of its own ..
(really regarding the four original members but in particular Gene and Paul to date)
They are more than just a unique, great rock band.
Their influence is strong. True KISS fans can appreciate and understand
what I am trying to say. They are Rock Gods in their own right and they have made themselves
immortal ... they are imprinted and frozen in time ...forevermore.
Alot of chicks wish to do many things in the flesh with these guys if they were to meet them eye to eye...
But you know what I desire?
Don't laugh...
I would just love to line them up, Gene, Paul, Peter and Ace ... and simply give each of them
a tight, soulful bear hug (wolf hug) and a warm sisterly smooch.
(Of course my fingers could accidentally slide through Paul's chest hair ...oops!)
I admire them as idols and I am proud of them as brothers.
