*************

You've asked me to name another place I would love to see TAPS or GHI investigate.. okay,

I would LOVE to see them investigate the old Novitiate in Gresham, Wisconsin!!

Talk about a historical place where MUCH has happened

.... that could prove to be quite interesting!!

************

I've been enjoying the new shows very much,

what a great team of people they are. :)

This of course goes for GHI as well.

I have learned a new expression from Brian while watching him investigate why a woman was "pushed" (as she thought) down a steps..... and, I don't know where I've been but this honestly is the first time I have ever heard that expression "Took a digger" ...and I busted up laughing SO hard I could not stop. Those of you who know me, understand that something like that can keep me going for quite some time. When things strike me funny, and it doesn't take much sometimes, there is no stopping my brain from doing a re-wind and nearly spewing Dr. Pepper as I bust up, yet again.

I am a nut that way.

"Took a digga"

I love it.

Be sure to check out this entire page for new entries, this page is a bit of a scramble... nothing is in order, not unlike my mind, therefore, skim over everything here.

Sept. 24 2008 ...

My apologies for not keeping things up-to-date in here, the private Animal Rescue Service I provide has been keeping me busier than usual lately. I am geared up to watch tonights episodes and am so glad to be home again this eve. I will no doubt be sipping tea with my feet up (sounds good already) ... and there will be sleepy kitties fighting for my lap.

Have a good eve everyone! ;)

Your Witch is watching! :)

CLICK ON MY BOOTS

Oh, and by the way, I LOVE that 'catch-phrase' I have adopted from Grant

"What the frig?!"

It looks like my potty mouth is being corrected by the positive influence of one of my favorite TAPS members ;)

Who would have thought that someone would ever be able to tame this stubborn old rabid Witch, eh?

LOL

"When in doubt, toss it out?!"

NEVER DO THAT!

Never dismiss something that is uncertain,

'tis Uncertainty that sits in the center of all mysteries..

One could potentially be tossing away many valuable things.

Store it away in an UNCERTAIN file ... but never, never toss any of it ... no different than tossing away pieces of a puzzle before you have the picture complete!

Including comments on their 2007 HALLOWEEN SPECIAL at Waverly Hills!

I keep adding comments so keep checking.

I love this GHOST HUNTING crew.

They are a serious crew but I am having a little fun with them in the image above ... it's my nature. If they hate any of the photoshop images I create of them, they need only to let me know.

Check out their website, I have provided the link for you below.

Also, watch them on SciFi WEDNESDAYS at 8:00 - 9:00pm EST !

They are serious but not without a good sense of humor.

We were so very excited to see Brian re-join the group. (I love his new hat by the way, Dude Run!) Brian was one of the original members and he most certainly adds the right entertaining mix into the show. Jason and Grant are strong Team Leaders paving the path for modern day Ghost Hunting while re-igniting the fire among other paranormal research groups. They juggle their intrigue and investigative passions with the stresses of family life which can at times be a challenge.

Among one of the many interesting and hauntingly facinating places of interests, Taps visited the Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Kentucky, a place well known for its haunted activity. It is also one special place I would love to visit one day if time and conditions permit. There are some pretty nice websites on Waverly Hills if you would like more information, here is one of them:

http://www.prairieghosts.com/waverly_tb.html

I would love to see TAPS visit The Grand Theater in Wausau Wisconsin....said to have much paranormal activity there. I know they would be warmly welcomed.

Good luck to the entire TAPS crew and their families!

And to each and every TAPS member...be safe in your travels, always.

You have my love and support.

GOOD JOB JASON AND GRANT !

We tuned in to NBC's Late Night with Conan Obrien to watch Jason and Grant as guests on the show!

(Thursday, Dec 8th 2005)

CLICK HERE to see a few snap shots (taken the old fasioned way) of the moments frozen in time.

Thumbs up you guys!

MORE TAPS NEWS!

How exciting to see our friendly ghost hunters had the opportunity to visit Ireland's Leap Castle!

Now how cool is THAT?!!

The crew did an awesome job and appeared to have a great deal of fun with that experience. Unfortunately, Steve did not join the crew on that adventure due to his fear of flying.

As many of you know, I can completely sympathize with Steve on this. It has been just over ten years since I have been aboard a plane of any type and I will never again fly. I have been on planes and jets in the past and enjoyed the ride with only a small bit of anxiety, no more than usual I suspect ...until my flight to New Mexico to visit my cousin Cheri. In the words of Frank Barone, "HOLY CRAP!"

As my luck would have it, there were problems with the jet on both the flight there and back. VERY terrifying experiences to be sure. Both times the entire aircraft fell silent as we bumped and dipped and dropped as one of the engines stopped and we hit turbulence. Quite frankly, I know I can speak for all of us who were on the plane....we certainly thought we were going to die. The look of terror on everyone's faces reflected it all, no voices were needed.

The mere thought of it brings panic.

I will NEVER fly again.

Not ever.............nope.

Never.

( I know what selective Editing can do when reflecting the activities and personalities of individuals

on any television program, they only show you what they want you to see

... but here are my thoughts thus far on our favorite ghost hunting crew)

Grant

I cannot find the words to express how impressed I am with Grant. Grant seems to be, without a doubt, one of the most kind-hearted individuals on the earth. He seems fair and reasonable and appropriately articulate in any given situation. He seems to reflect a positive attitude even when dealing with negative situations and is sensitive to the feelings of others. His gentle nature is refreshing and honorable... the kind of guy this Witch would defend with life and limb if you know what I mean. Definitely two thumbs up for Grant. We can learn from his example. We need more people in this world like Grant.

Jason

I can identify with Jason on many levels but the first thing I cannot help notice is his strong somewhat unpredictable personality. He's sweet and funny one minute and can quickly hit a boiling point and pop off on people the next ... sometimes to an unnecessary degree. There are times certain situations should be handled in the manor in which Grant would deliver ..... whereas, Jason or myself would jump right in and really rip on our target and allow our anger to unleash itself like a lion. I know, I know, I can be worse ... as an example, if Jason were to "pop off" at ME, he would most certainly have his hands full. Never put two lions in a show ring.

On the other side of the coin ...

Jason can be and IS a very cool person. A strong leader ... with a great sense of humor, and by the way, the new look he is sporting for this new season (facial hair) is fantastic... and HOLY BATS WINGS!! ... check out the arms on that guy!!

Huba, huba!

(Jason! If you're reading this, I will go nose to nose with you on a few orb issues

... BUT ...

I think you're awesome .... )

Jason has the right to grumble about his equipment not always being respected and treated carefully! If something is broken, left behind or lost he should most definately be compensated for it. That is something I am personally insane about. I have a clipboard with a checklist of everything I take ... but I keep track of it myself ... and threaten anyone who uses it how very careful they must be. I am quite strict about some things.

Brian

Congrats to Brian on his beautiful daughter!

Many of you are well aware of my thoughts on Brian. I love that kid and I'd adopt him in a heartbeat. I know, he's not a kid ... but when you get to be my age, one definitely can view anyone of that age, respectably, a "kid" ... sure, he's made his mistakes, haven't we all ... but he has so many awesome qualities and I honestly believe situations are being exaggerated a bit and I see cattiness behind his back. Sure, we don't know the whole story, I, like any other viewer, can only offer opinion on what I observe via thee show since I do not know them personally.

I love Brian's enthusiasm and his humor. He has fire in his spirit, I like that.

I believe his heart has always been sincerely into the TAPS investigations ... but perhaps the vibrations and attitudes of certain people in his life at the time have disrupted his outward attitude and reactions to certain situations, beit a girlfriend, other TAPS members or other influences. We all deal with pressure and uncomfortable situations in different ways. We can see this in each TAPS member ... how differently they deal with situations. I do not wish to view more trashing or vented anger towards Brian on future episodes regarding past issues ..... it's time to move on. The relentless focus on past negative issues only plants the seeds for the continuance of future negative, uncomfortable and humiliating public situations. Enough is enough. Brian has been an important part of the foundation of TAPS and the public launching of the group as well as an important ingredient to the tasty ratings of the show and I do feel he's taken the crappy end of things on many occasions.

'Nuff said.

I hope to see more of Brian in future TAPS episodes. If not ...... I encourage Brian to organize his own Ghost Hunting crew and he can change his focus and direction. Now a leader as a father ... he could also be a leader of his own paranormal group. I believe he would be successful in that undertaking on a whole other level and would perhaps capture a fresh audience as well as maintain his fans who followed him through his TAPS days. Whatever his choices in the future, we wish him luck! The important thing is... he, like the rest of us, must always follow his passions ...... and let no one stand in his way!

Now ... regarding 'running' during an investigation .... lol .... makes for great television and heightened excitement among anyone who happens to be near the 'runner' at the time ... lol... sorry, but I think it's funny.

If you could hear me laughing right now, with love in my heart.

I cannot tell you how many people have RUN while attending paranormal investigations with me. Personally, I have never been one to run, never, I have the opposite reaction, I wish to charge ahead in an attempt to 'catch' whatever might be lurking or creating a noise, while others take off with their asses on fire with a bobbing flashlight and only one thought in their head and that is to reach the safety of the car .... one investigator was actually frightened by his own unexpected flatulence as he fled, three steps at a time, from a cellar ... trust me, I think i've been around every reaction and situation LOL ...

... now keep in mind, it is not really professional to run during an investigation ...

BUT

BRIAN!! Hope you're reading this! Your catch phrase "Dude Run" on the cap was an EXCELLENT idea! This is the idea of a good Entrepreneur! ... and I hope you are bringing in some $$$ for it. I personally hope to purchase a few more in the near future if still available, for gifts for friends.

AND IF ANYONE GIVES YOU CRAP ABOUT YOUR CAP IDEA .... TELL THEM TO GO LICK SOME RAZORS!

That's Baloney!

The cap and the catch phrase are YOURS to do with as you wish ... as anyone else would do if they were to think of it..

Brian ... bigger things are on your horizon! ... afterall, you have the Rabid Wolf Witch on your side! ;)

Laura Wolf, The Rabid Wolf Witch

Yes, that is me in the photo above.

Steve

Steve, Steve, Steve ... our tattooed ghost hunter with the occasional mischievous Ricki Tikki Tavi twinkle in his eye. Comments on Steve are up next! Check back! ;)

You ask if I will have more comments on individual TAPS members

YES, of course ........ more updated comments are coming soon my sweets!

Steve is up next! :)

ALSO!!

I will have comments on their 2007 HALLOWEEN SPECIAL at Waverly Hills!

Did my eyes deceive me or did I see Steve doing the drunk man's polka-hop?

No, no, no .... it was actually a frightening experience at Waverly ... I'll explain more later.

Gotta love that Steve! ;)

I've been receiving emails from some of you ghouls wondering when my comments will be posted regarding theTAPS Halloween special ... work keeps me away ... I am also scheduled to assist in another paranormal investigation in my area.... and to answer a quick common question, I have been actively involved in serious paranormal research since I was a teen ... keep in mind I was born in '66. I am an old Witch. The paranormal is nothing new to my family, having witches in the family tree, dowsers, seers and more. I have over the years combined both my own family traditional methods with more scientific methods and seem to do quite well.

Now, as many of you know, I do not agree with all of the ghost-hunting methods used by TAPS nor do I agree with some of their case conclusions and point of view on certain matters ... but they are unique in their own rite, so to speak. I will get into this more at a later date and link it through this page... and of course I will be commenting on TAPS members Steve, Dave and Andy next...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One thing I AM ready to comment on regarding their 2007 Halloween Special is the fact that, in my opinion, there were two people who should NOT have been there ... and two people who SHOULD have been there. I will not toss you the names of these people ... but I will give you this, Jason and Grant did the best job in the special and were the threads that held the show together ...and Steve did well also ... and then there is sweet brother Dave who should always be included in as many adventures as possible.
The special seemed to start out ok but it definitely had some dull stretches of awkward time and one TAPS member, whom I have not mentioned thus far, could not have seemed more uninterested and moreover, she seemed to lack enthusiasm and energy on the investigation AND... for God Sakes, a LIVE TELEVISION SPECIAL ... she was not a good choice for that particular endeavor ... she seemed to drag the show down a bit and also, unfortunately, put a drag on the reputation and personality of TAPS. I was, however, happy to see her smile a bit. This is a woman who, thus far, appears to viewers as someone with a bold personality and perhaps not always the most friendly person to deal with. Now, keep in mind my sweets, this impression is not born from her alone, but from the editing of all prior TAPS episodes, therefore, viewer impressions are not always accurate but we do not believe she has the 'people skills' that Donna has ... everyone brings something different to the table. The thing is, when on television, it's best to have people who will stir an eager and more exciting presence. I hope this doesn't hurt anyone .....that is not my intent. Just stating my opinion... I also want to see the show continue and do well.
Donna ... now why in the Hell have I not mentioned Donna yet? Donna is a sweetheart. Everyone loves Donna. So very personable, soft spoken and kind ... with a professional aim. Every professional office should always have a fresh and beautiful bouquet of flowers to greet clients ....
... that bouquet is Donna.
More comments to come at a later time.
TAPS really has become a family of sorts, we can see that clearly. I will have more comments soon.
In the meantime, don't dangle your feet over the edge of your bed my sweets ...
Watch a short but very cool clip of Dave Tango doing a bit of magic!
Absolutely EVERYone among my circles love Dave.
I love the entire TAPS crew. They're good people ... and I love the way they can carry out their own style of serious investigation and yet allow their great sense of humor to surface from time to time. I wish happiness and safe journeys to each and every one of them.
I think it's about time I add a few people to the pic below....another little task I'll attack soon. :)
Above image is a photoshop creation I made after googling a few pics of our TAPS crew
Below is the affirmation I recite each time I finish a Safety Spell for TAPS:
Guardian Spirits over earth and sea
Protect these souls, wherever they may be
Keep them safe in a Land that's free
Hear me now ... So mote it be!
~ Laura Wolf ~
Each time this affirmation is read it reinforces my magical intent.
Thousands now read this... therefore, this affirmation must be quite charged.
I was asked to include an AUDIO of myself reciting this incantation. Here it is.
Peace Everyone !
TAPS has this wayward Witch on their side.
ORBS
Someone requested I comment on a few questions regarding ORBS here. This is a deep topic but here is one paragraph that will answer a few:
There are many types of orbs. Every living thing is made up of energy. After ‘death’ and physical body parts break down, the energy of this living being continues to exist. Even Einstein believed in life after death due to the fact that you cannot “kill” energy.
At any rate, energy can link with other energy and travel in different patterns, depending on it’s influences ... and it’s shape can vary. Orbs are abundant. Energy collects itself together into a sphere if not pulled or tugged or re-directed by environmental or other influential sources. Orbs can be found in different colors. Again it deals with many other aspects of influence. Many orbs display interactive intelligence. That is another interesting chapter. Orbs are fascinating … when they are not impersonated by dust or raindrops or other misc. eye tricking things. You will find more of my opinions and comments on Orbs at a later date.
Certain members of TAPS, at times, too quickly brush aside the importance of orbs and though I love these guys, they have no right to tell their clients to disregard orbs and reassure them that they are "nothing" ... there is no one alive on this earth who has the credentials or enough answers to state that as a fact. They might want to think about changing their statement slightly when confronting their clients. Orbs are questionable and remain under heavy debate. You can be the biggest bullhead in the universe and demand you're right ... but that doesn't mean you are.
Oh come one now, just having a bit of fun here... :D
I am in agreement with a statement made by Grant on one particular episode referring to the importance of the human element included in the investigation. That human element is of extreme importance and should never be excluded or thought unnecessary. Investigators should always have the opportunity to simply walk or sit quietly in the area to make notes of how they feel at that time ... any particular thoughts or feelings that might come to them ... changes in physical ... changes in mental ... even spontaneous impressions should be noted, even if quietly jotted down so as not to speak and interrupt or influence the experiences of the others who might choose to tune in to the situation. We are great receivers, senders and conductors when it comes to energy. Ahhhhh .... some of the main elements of spell casting and Witchery .... but now that is quite another story. ;)
Cheers All!
