Vampires ... they bring us fear, fascination, intrigue, and eroticism. They are powerful and mysterious.
They are many things to many people. These days, there are a number of definitions for Vampire but the
fact remains, they do exist on many different levels.There are Vampires in film who frighten and entertain
us ...these are the Vampires who make us feel safe because we know they are fine actors indulging us in
fantasy... Then, there are Vampires who crave the taste of blood ...the scent and the feel of it arouses
them... in fact, many blood-drinkers begin to feel ill without it and they simply must drink.
Some Vampires may not require blood but instead will drain energy from other living beings with great ease
...taking from them the very life force that pulses from the nucleus of that being
... affecting mind, physical body and soul...
this often depletes that person or animal of its energy
to the point of collapse or blackout.
There are many different types of Vampires.
You may one day pass one while walking along the street and be completely unaware...
And yes, there are people who insist there is proof of the walking dead...vampires who materialize as
zombies or apparitions, even vampyric incubus-like creatures who appear in the night to feed on the living.
Sometimes Vampires come to us in dreams over many years...
Sometimes ...they one day show up in the flesh ... to stand quietly in the shroud of night
just outside your window ...waiting to be invited inside.
